Carry the lane, then let the finish work.
The Discmania Color Glow C-Line Vanguard is Kyle Klein’s Creator Series fairway driver, combining a controlled, maneuverable flight with a grippy glow blend. Rated 9 / 5 / 0 / 2, it is designed to carry forward under suitable power before a moderate fading finish.
This Color Glow version flies a little straighter than the Special Blend Vanguard and has a touch more dome. It gives you a distinct option in the Vanguard family without relying on the traits of a different plastic or release.
A fairway driver that responds to your angle
With sufficient throwing speed, the Vanguard can hold a forward line before fading. Experienced players can also explore sweeping hyzers and controlled anhyzer releases that give the disc room to work back toward its finish.
It is a useful candidate for longer placement drives where you want carry without reaching straight for a faster distance mold. Lower-power throws may show an earlier fade, so compare it with a slower fairway to find the distance and shape you can repeat.
- Controlled fairway drives: Match a smooth, committed release to a lane with room for the finish.
- Hyzer shaping: Use the starting angle to build a curved route.
- Controlled flex lines: Practice a shaped flight in open space before using it around obstacles.
- A moderate-fade option: Fill a different role from easy-turning fairways and more strongly fading utility drivers.
Comfortable rim, grippy Color Glow feel
The Vanguard has a blunt nose and smoothly shaped rim, designed for a comfortable feel in the hand. This version has a slight dome, a little more than the Special Blend release.
Color Glow C-Line brings durability, a very grippy feel, and medium stiffness to this run. It also glows after charging, adding low-light capability without changing the need to learn the disc's daytime flight first.
Charge it before low-light play. Glow brightness and duration depend on the light source and conditions; the listed daytime color does not establish an exact glow color.
One familiar driver, more than one route
The landing area is open, but the lane asks for a little shape. A Vanguard you know gives you a way to explore a forward drive, a sweeping hyzer, or a controlled flex without changing molds for every variation.
Start by learning those lines in an open field. When the grip feels settled and the finish is familiar, bring the Color Glow Vanguard to the shots where controlled carry is more useful than extra speed.
