Settle into a firmer putting routine
The Discraft Luna Hard Blend Putt & Approach Disc gives firm-feel fans a beadless option in Paul McBeth's Luna lineup. If a softer putter isn't your preference, this Hard Putter Blend version is a clear alternative to explore without changing molds.
Give it a job before giving it a permanent pocket in the bag. Start with your normal putting motion, learn how the rim sits in your hand, and build familiarity one clean release at a time.
Hard Blend, with a beadless rim
This edition is identified as Hard Putter Blend, making it the firm-blend choice rather than the Soft Blend Luna. The beadless rim suits players who prefer a putter without a bead beneath their fingers.
Firmness is a preference, not a shortcut to accuracy. Choose this version because it suits your hand and release, rather than expecting a hard blend to automatically fly more overstable or catch chains better than another Luna.
From warm-up putts to touch approaches
Picture your pre-round warm-up: a few comfortable putts, a familiar stance, and time to settle into the release. This Luna can be the disc you use to establish that rhythm, then keep returning to as the distances change.
Beyond the green, explore smooth backhand approaches into an open landing area. Start with controlled power and adjust angle and height gradually. Those practice throws help you decide which approach shapes feel repeatable, rather than assuming every putter edition behaves exactly alike.
Keep the mold, choose your feel
For Luna throwers comparing blends, the Hard Blend offers a straightforward reason to try another version: a different firmness preference in the same mold family. For players choosing a beadless putting putter, it belongs on the list when a firmer feel is part of the brief.
Pair it with your dedicated approach disc and learn where each one earns the throw. A useful short-game lineup isn't about making every disc do everything; it's about knowing which one feels right for the shot in front of you.
