The Discraft Putter Line Soft Focus is a slightly overstable putt-and-approach disc for players who prefer a softer, tactile grip. Its 2 / 2 / -1 / 2 flight ratings combine low speed and modest glide with a measured finishing fade, making it an option for both putting and controlled upshots.
Soft feel for your short game
Putter Line Soft offers a comfortable, grippy feel, with Discraft highlighting its usefulness in cooler weather or wet conditions. The Focus has a beaded rim, giving players who enjoy that defined contact point an alternative to a beadless putter. This is the Putter Line Soft version, not the Anthony Barela CT Swirl edition.
From practice basket to approach duty
Work the Focus into a putting practice session to learn how its soft feel fits your release. Then try controlled approaches, giving the disc room for its finishing fade. Learning both roles can help you decide whether it belongs as your main putting putter, an approach option, or both.
- Putting: A soft-feeling choice for players who value tactile grip.
- Controlled approaches: A low-speed option with a gentle, slightly overstable finish.
- Modest glide: A contrast to floatier putters when choosing your approach disc.
- Player fit: Worth considering if you prefer beaded, softer putters rather than firm or beadless designs.
