Your midrange, with a little more give.

The Discraft ESP FLX Buzzz pairs the Buzzz’s versatile midrange flight with added flexibility and grip. If you like the mold’s placement role but prefer a softer-feeling disc over a rigid blend, this version gives you a different connection in the hand.

With 5 / 4 / -1 / 1 flight numbers, it covers straight shots, gentle curves, and controlled anhyzer lines. Reach for it when a putter needs more carry and a fairway driver would bring more speed than the shot calls for.

What ESP FLX brings

ESP FLX is a flexible version of ESP plastic. The added give lets the disc flex under pressure rather than feeling as rigid as a stiffer blend, while offering a grippy surface for your throwing hand.

That flexibility can be appealing when colder conditions make rigid plastics less comfortable to grip. It remains a matter of personal preference, not a guarantee against slipping or a promise of the same feel in every temperature.

Choose ESP FLX for its hand feel. Flexibility alone does not guarantee a dead-stop landing, eliminate skips, or establish a more understable flight than every other Buzzz.

Shape the shot with your release

A clean, suitably powered throw can produce a straight flight with a modest finish. Set a gentle hyzer for a curving placement route, or use an anhyzer angle to explore a smooth line in the opposite direction.

On a wooded fairway, you see a gap just beyond comfortable putter range. You settle into the flexible grip, pick the landing area, and make a smooth Buzzz throw instead of overpowering a driver. That measured midrange job is its reason to be in the bag.

Useful lines to practice

  • Straight placements: Controlled carry with a gentle fading finish.
  • Longer approaches: Bridge the gap between putter distances and fairway-driver shots.
  • Gentle hyzers: Build a sweeping route around a deliberate release angle.
  • Controlled anhyzers: Shape a line with enough height and room for the flight you intend.
  • Touch forehands: An option for players who like a flexible feel and can deliver a smooth sidearm release.

Who should choose this blend?

Players who prefer added flex and grip are the clearest fit. Developing throwers can use its manageable midrange speed to practice angle control, while experienced players can build several placement shapes around the same mold.

Pair it with a more overstable midrange for harder-fading routes or demanding wind. The Buzzz is workable, but it does not hold every line regardless of power, release angle, or conditions.
