The Legacy Rival in Pinnacle plastic is a speed-7 fairway driver for controlled lines with a defined finish. Its 7 / 5 / 0 / 2 flight numbers pair glide with zero rated turn and moderate fade, offering a different flight profile from turn-heavy, understable drivers.
Work the fairway, plan the finish
When the landing zone calls for forward flight followed by a finishing curve, the Rival gives you a fairway-speed option to consider. Shape the line with your release angle and leave space for its fade of 2 as it slows. The resulting flight depends on your power, release, and conditions.
Where the Rival fits in your bag
- Controlled fairway shots: Speed 7 when you don't need to reach for a high-speed distance driver.
- Gliding lines: Glide of 5 for throws that need forward carry.
- Defined finishes: Fade of 2 when a finishing curve suits the landing zone.
- A contrast to understable drivers: Zero rated turn rather than a strongly negative turn rating.
