Take the turning line with confidence in your choice.
The MVP Neutron Impulse Black Rim is an understable speed-nine driver for players who want glide and movement instead of a heavy fading finish. Its 9 / 5 / -3 / 1 flight makes it a useful option for hyzer-flips, controlled turnovers, and shaped distance.
This listing pairs Neutron plastic with black-rim styling. The rim color identifies the version, not a separate stability rating or a promise of a different flight.
Let release angle do some of the work
Lower- and moderate-power players can explore straight-to-understable driver lines. Start with a smooth hyzer release and learn how much angle the Impulse needs to move toward flat at your speed.
More powerful throwers can develop longer turnovers and utility flip lines. Its responsive flight also gives experienced players an option for tailwind drives and rollers, once they have learned the release.
- Hyzer-flip drives: Work from a hyzer release toward a flatter, gliding flight.
- Turning fairways: Follow a line that keeps moving rather than relying on a big fade.
- Workable driving: Explore distance and control when more stable drivers finish too early.
- Utility shapes: Practice rollers and tailwind lines with an understable mold.
Premium Neutron for regular rounds
Neutron is MVP's premium opaque plastic, offering a premium feel with durability characteristics shared with Proton. It suits a driver you want to learn through fieldwork and keep in rotation for regular play.
The Impulse is responsive to power and angle, so a clean release matters more than simply throwing harder. Its understability is a tool for shaping shots, not a guarantee of effortless distance.
Build a turnover you recognize
Imagine a fairway that drifts in the turning direction all the way toward the landing area. After a few practice sessions comparing flat and hyzer releases, the Impulse can give you a familiar way to follow that shape without forcing a more stable driver onto a steep angle.
It fits developing players seeking a workable driver and experienced throwers adding a dedicated understable option. Keep a more turn-resistant complement available for headwinds and shots that need a stronger finish.
