Bring the power. Leave room for the full flight.
The Axiom Neutron Mayhem is a high-speed distance driver with a straight-stable profile and enough turn to shape long flights when thrown with the right power. Its 13 / 5 / -1.5 / 2 ratings pair workable high-speed movement with a finishing fade, making it a distance option for experienced players who want more than a hard fading hook.
This is a demanding speed class, not an automatic distance upgrade. Stronger throwers can explore flights that stand up from hyzer or drift from flat before finishing. At lower speeds, expect less of that turn and a more fade-dominant result.
A wide rim and a glide-focused mold
The Mayhem belongs to Axiom's 23 mm distance-driver class. Axiom describes the mold as having a pronounced dome to promote glide and compares its flight to a seasoned MVP Octane. Those are useful mold-level references, not a promise that every individual disc has the same dome or flies identically.
- Long drives with room to work: Give the disc space for its turn-and-fade flight.
- Powered hyzer releases: Experienced throwers can explore stand-up lines when their speed brings out the turn.
- Workable distance placement: A straight-stable option alongside more overstable distance drivers.
Neutron plastic for regular distance duty
Neutron offers premium look and feel in high-contrast opaque colorways, with durability characteristics shared with Proton. It is a practical premium blend for a driver you intend to practice with and throw regularly.
This listing is the Neutron version. Select the listed plastic, color, and weight combination; color and weight alone do not guarantee an exact flight.
Who should choose the Mayhem?
Advanced and experienced throwers who are comfortable with wide-rimmed drivers are the natural fit. If you already generate the speed to work a distance driver, the Mayhem offers a responsive option for longer lines. If a fairway driver currently travels farther or more consistently for you, more speed on the label is not a reason to abandon it.
Picture an open tee shot with space to land. Choose the line first, make a committed release, and watch where the Mayhem begins to turn and finish at your power. Learning that full flight is more useful than chasing a distance promise.
