Controlled power, dressed for tour.
The Ricky Wysocki 2026 Tour Series Hallux pairs a speed-10 control-driver flight with Discraft’s Titanium/Big Z Special Blend. With 10 / 5 / 0 / 3 flight numbers, it offers forward carry and a defined finish for players who want placement without giving up the ability to throw with intent.
The Hallux was developed with Ricky Wysocki’s input. This Tour Series edition gives the mold its own plastic experience, distinct from First Run ESP and Jawbreaker Z FLX releases.
Titanium durability meets Big Z feel
The 2026 Special Blend combines Titanium and Big Z for enhanced grip, a comfortable hand feel, and lasting durability. The blend brings the vibrant character of Big Z together with the wear resistance associated with Titanium.
Its swirled appearance adds personality without being a flight guarantee. Choose the color, foil, and weight you prefer rather than expecting a particular color combination to fly differently.
Forward carry with an authoritative finish
The Hallux is designed for controlled power and resistance to turn. With suitable speed and a clean release, it can push forward before fading as it slows, giving you a route between neutral shaping drivers and harder-fading utility options.
At lower speeds, expect less forward carry and an earlier finish. For a right-hand backhand, the fade moves left; a right-hand forehand reverses that direction. Leave room for that arc when choosing the starting line.
Shots to build around
- Controlled distance: Put speed-10 carry to work when the landing zone matters as much as distance.
- Backhand hyzers: Use an open route with room for a defined finish.
- Forehand drives: An overstable option for players with a clean, committed sidearm release.
- Flex lines: Explore an anhyzer-to-fade shape when your power, height, and available space suit it.
You reach a fairway that opens after the first gap but asks for a finish near the landing zone. The Hallux gives you a reason to choose the line deliberately: make a clean release, allow room for forward carry, and let the fading finish be part of the plan.
Where it fits in your bag
Players looking for a grippy, durable control driver with finishing stability are the clearest fit. It can complement a straighter fairway driver and a faster distance mold, giving each disc a distinct job instead of forcing one driver to cover every route.
Developing players may find a utility role, but a slower driver can be easier to control while building throwing speed. Wind still affects overstable discs, and neither recovery from an anhyzer nor a particular landing result is guaranteed.
