Fairway-inspired feel with distance-driver glide

The Innova Pro Gorgon blends the comfortable feel of a fairway driver with the reach of a speed-10 distance driver. Its 10 / 6 / -2 / 1 flight ratings combine generous glide, workable high-speed turn, and a gentle finishing fade, making it worth considering when you want carry without a hard finishing hook.

Why choose Pro plastic?

  • Enhanced grip: Innova's Driver Pro blend offers more grip than Champion, giving players a different feel to consider for their distance lineup.
  • Glide-focused material: Innova describes Driver Pro as offering additional glide compared with its other plastic lines.
  • A durability step above DX: Driver Pro offers increased durability over DX while retaining its own distinct grip and feel.

Where it fits in your bag

If you throw fairway drivers comfortably and want to try a faster option, the Gorgon offers a step into speed-10 territory without the strong fade of many overstable distance drivers. Its -2 turn can help shape carrying lines when thrown with sufficient speed. Unlike the GStar Gorgon's -3 turn rating, this Pro version is rated -2.

On an open fairway that calls for forward carry and a modest finish, start with a smooth release and learn how much turn your disc produces. For a right-hand backhand throw, high-speed turn moves right and the finishing fade moves left; reverse those directions for a left-hand backhand. With the right power and release, hyzer flips and turning lines are possibilities, not automatic results.

If your faster drivers consistently fade out early, a slower disc may still be the better choice. Speed 10 describes the speed needed for the intended flight, not a guarantee of extra distance.
